Brazilian design studio AmoritzGT has presented a full-size prototype of a new one-off supercar called DoniRosset, powered by a mid-mounted V10 engine.

The project was started in 2008, when William Denis Rosset commissioned a supercar as a gift for his father Donino Rosset.

Since then, Brazilian studio AmoritzGT, led by former VW designer Fernando Morita, has developed the supercar into a full-size clay model and then into a full-size prototype, with a carbon body and aluminum chassis, overcoming a number of obstacles due to the small-scale of the studio and the resources available.

The prototype construction took 35,000 hours and was carried out by an amazingly small team of just six people.

As lead designer Fernando Morita explains, “The one-box body is in two-tone to emphasize the reference to a F1 car, where the dark parts give the idea of structural basis and the lighter color a second skin.”

“The main theme was to merge form and function, then all the lines used are directly related to the mechanical parts.”

“The interior and exterior are also connected, seeking simplicity and direction of lines converging to the pilot.”

The driver’s seat is centered in the cabin to give a racing car-like feeling .

This is inspiring and very emotional design .. Like it very much, But I think they need to figure out how to keep these details attractive in the real car .. Cause really I loved sketches and renders more cause it’s illustrating all design details.

I’m not fond of batman cars but i admit this is very nice! I love the proportions and, above all, the awesome 3/4 front view. It does have personality. I’d like one! Congs to the designer
