Car design contest from Atari

Atari has announced a car design contest fot its “Test Drive Unlimited” videogame. Designer are invited to create a dream concept car: the winning project will receive a $2,500 award and will be included as a 3D model in the game.


Ferrari Dino ConceptWith the “Want to be a Car Designer” contest, Atari invites all novice designers to create an image of their dream concept car.

The winner will have his/her design driving alongside cars such as the Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin as a fully functioning 3D vehicle within Test Drive Unlimited.

The winner will also receive a financial reward of $2,500.

Designer must submit images of their concept car, including a 3/4 front view (showing front & side), a 3/4 rear view (showing rear and side) and a cockpit view.

The contest is open to legal residents of the U.S. (except Puerto Rico) and Australia.

All Entries must be received before 11:59:59 pm EST June 30, 2006, regardless of method of entry (online form or regular mail).

The public voting period will end on 10 July 2006 and the winner will be notified by certified mail on 15 July 2006.
