Dassault Systèmes Design Challenge 2012: the Winners

AutoDesign&Styling magazine has announced the results of the Dassault Systèmes Design Challenge 2012. The winner is Riten Gojiya with a futuristic hovercraft concept.

The Prague-based international design contest was organized by Dassault Systèmes and the AutoDesign&Styling magazine with the support of the civic association Czechdesign.

In total, over 60 designers entered the competition open to young designers under 35 years of age and held under the auspices of the Prague Mayor.

Participants were asked to present, through individual objects, their ideas of a modern European city and its citizens.

On 7 September, the seven-member jury, led by Vice President of Dassault Systèmes Anne Asensio, selected three finalists. They attended the final workshop, during which they developed their concepts using the professional 3D design tool CATIA Natural Sketch.

The jury consisted of Anne Asensio, AutoDesign&Styling Editor-in-Chief Radek Laube, Jana Vinšová from Czechdesign, Dassault Systèmes’ Automotive Industry Client Executive Miloš Korvas and renowned Czech designers Ladislav Škoda, Petr Novaque and Martin Žampach. The competition projects will be published in the next issue of AutoDesign&Styling.
