German Company e-Wolf has released new information on the Alpha-2 electric sportscar first unveiled in 2009. The Lamborghini-inspired model is expected to debut in October and to be built in a limited series production.

First unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as the e-2 Concept, the now-called Alpha-2 is a under development project of a sportscar with an all-electric powertrain equipped with two electric motors and a Li-ion battery pack with ceramic storage technology.

e-Wolf Alpha-2 ConceptThe continuous power output is 140 kW, while a 280 kW / 375 hp peak output can be delivered for a 30 seconds boost.

The main performance figures are a top speed of 230 km/h and a range of 300 km.

The design of the Alpha-2 is the same as the e-2 presented in 2009, and showcases a strong influence by the latest Lamborghini models, with the “stealth” style made of sharp surfaces and edges.

The distinctive rear view is characterized by the absence of the rear-window, the center diffuser and the large grilled surface.

At the moment the official prices have not been announced; a near-production prototype could be unveiled this Fall.

For me, there’s a lot of bad lines and surfacing with this design- whether they’re aiming for stealth or not, the proportion is overly an eyesore.
