he 216 edition of the challenge, first launched in 2013, is open to any U.S. high school students in grades 10, 11 and 12. Submission for entry will close at 12 a.m. Eastern time on January 8, 2016.
The overall winner will receive a MacBook Pro, a three-week summer automotive design course at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit (includes housing, meals and field trips), a dinner with FCA US Design team members plus three passes to the Detroit Autorama at Cobo Center in Detroit, including flight, hotel and rental car.

Second, third and fourth place prizes will receive the same prizes, with an iPad Pro in place of the MacBook Pro.
The SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo is reported as one of the suggested sources of inspiration
Four winners will be selected and must be present or have a representative at the Detroit Autorama show in Detroit to accept his/her prizes.
