This Much I Know: Adrian Van Hooydonk
Motor Trend, June 2006.
Abstract/Summary
Not many people have produced a car design that shook the world, but Dutchman Adrian Van Hooydonk did with his 2001 7 Series. At the time, he was director of BMW’s California car studio and product design consultancy, Designworks.
In 2004, aged just 40 years, he was given responsibility for the design of the whole BMW range under group design chief Chris Bangle. Currently, BMW Design is finishing two projects for 2007: an X5-based off-road coupe and a multiseat sport minivan.
